About Jason
Jason Earle was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He has held various clinical and management positions, primarily in healthcare settings. Positions include medical social worker in a psychiatric and emergency room setting, acute care, community clinic, pediatric, post-acute, hospice care, case management services, community relations director, and adjunct professor of Social Work.
As an Adjunct Professor, Jason taught a social work practice skills lab that is required of all students as part of the foundation semester in graduate school. The course emphasizes the acquisition and development of practice skills in communication and problem solving for all levels of social work practice.
He holds a B.A. in Sociology and a M.S. in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and attended UT Austin while working on a doctorate in interdisciplinary studies.
Jason has been active in service to the Austin community. He is a graduate of Leadership Austin and served as a community representative on the Community Advancement Network’s (CAN) Community Council. He has served on several local and national non-profit boards, including the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association, The Care Communities, RSVP Travis County and Community Shares of Texas. He has also been active with the Longhorn Leaders, a program to build strong leadership for youth, Seton Cove, The Austin Project, The University of Texas Club and Rotary International.
On a personal note, Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends and training for triathlons. He loves walking or running whether it be on the beach, in their neighborhood, or running around Lady Bird Lake with his best friend and wife, Normajean and their children Adelaide and Elias.
